R Rajan K Guest Mar 14, 2009 #2 it gives the amp channel a higher power which is sent to your sub, it doesnt mess up the car i have a small 400w amp sending out 55rms each channel, if i bridge 2 channels i get 110 for that channel, but its still a 400w amp
