I don't think anyone deserves to be the target of racial or religious discrimination. It's not that people have an absolute right to be treated with respect by others, but rather that treating individuals disrespectfully because of one's prejudice is unjustified.
In the context of racist business practices, we could easily imagine people having to choose between a)leaving their home and community, or b)experiencing a greatly reduced quality of life, without having done anything to deserve having to make that choice.
