Whats wrong with my Kyocera xtc phone?

I had to charger it the other day and when i went to plug it into the charger my phone wouldn't start up and charge wat so ever. So i thought maybe its the charger. So i try my parents charger it works fine for a couple days then i go today and it doesn't work at all. Does the same thing won't start up or anything. I don't know what I did to. I haven't dropped or anything like that. When i take a shower sometimes i get a little little wet on the screen. Do u think that could have leaked through? How much would a battery cost for this if that's the problem? Thanks I really need my phone. I'm a textacholic. Lol. Ya so answer soon. Thanks.

LOL I loved when you said you are a textaholic because I am too! Anyway your question needs an answer so here you go.
I think your battery may be dying! You might want to go to the store and get a new battery.
That is all I can think of. That is wierd that its doing this though!
 
it could be the battery because that happen to me ones i had to change the battery because sometimes when i charge the phone in 1 hour it says full , later it was out of charge and sometimes won't charge and i buy the battery from my friend and i pay 2 dollars but i don't know how much does the battery of your phone cost and it that is not the problem maybe is your phone now and i think you migth had to change it but try to buy the battery first
