My family has recently got a new black lab mix puppy. I love her to death already, but she doesn't get along with my cat at all, and I love my cat just as much too and can't get rid of either one. My older dog can get along with the cat just fine, but the puppy just keeps wanting to chase the cat up trees. Just recently I got some pretty bad cuts from when I was holding the cat and the puppy came out of no where, and now I really want them to get along now. My mom wants to get a shock collar for the puppy, but I really don't like the whole "shock" collar concept. Anyone have any other ideas of how to train her?
What's the best way to train puppies to get along with cats?
