Whats the best subwoofer for a truck?

I want probably a 12 inch shallow subwoofer for under the back seat of my extended cab. and much power should my amp put out to it?
It's a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab

I like Rock, Country, Hip/hop and Rap....
