what is a nice 1 channel 400 watt amp @ 2 ohms? or a 2 channel amp that gives 200 watts at 4 ohms?

When wired down to a 2 ohm load the Alpine mrp-m450 puts out 400 watts rms. This amp is very compact but powerful and durable and can take a beating. I have the mrp-m500 amp powering my sub and it does the job very well without cutting out or even getting warm. Your subs should perform very well.

Also to boost your sound get the amp install kit from Rockford Fosgate. Their wire is made of pure copper which allows for better current flow thus more power, and less strain on your alternator. The RFK4X is a good kit.

Also try ebay for great deals on the products I mentioned.

I hope this helps and good luck!
