The teacher before me started the environmental clubs as the Green Cardinals (green for eco-friendly and cardinals for our mascot). However, it has been shortened to Green Cards and I don't feel it is appropriate to put on signs out in the community due to the immigration jokes it's attracted. So what I'm asking is, what are some cute, clever or witty names?
Helpful details: small community of Chrisman, IL & Cardinals as our mascot. Red and black are our school colors. We recycle paper and are getting ready to start doing Adopt-a-highway if possible.
