What's a good GPS system for less than $150?

I want to get a GPS for my car, but one that I can take with me when I travel in a rental car.

Costco has a Garmin Nuvi260 on sale for $129 (regular $179). My stepson said her fiance's dad has a Garmin and likes it. My concern is that the screen on this one is only 3.5". Is that going to be easily visible when I'm just glancing at it while I'm driving? It does have voice prompts.

Is there a better system out there for that kind of money?

Best hand held GPS for $150

Garmin eTrex Venture HC retails for $150.

No it's not for driving in your car and reading on the fly.

Sorry. But for the money your talking about for a car GPS you'd do better with a paper map.
