My favorite artists are solo projects, using cubase 5 and a computer. I'd like to try making some music like they do - I just got cubase (haven't even played with it yet) and wonder what kind of keyboard/keyboard controller would be good for a beginner just to start making some tunes?
I know nothing about the process but am good with computers and movie editing, so I'm sure I will pick this stuff up easily with practice. What does cubase not have that should be on the controller, if anything?
