What would it sound like if you ported a subwoofer box that was built to size for

being a sealed box? i have a ported box for my two tens and i would like to port it for more sound but im not sure if that is a good idea or not
i have a sealed box and want it to be ported NOT ported and want it to be ported. thanks!
 
crappy. a sealed box normal has less volume then a ported box. honestly, just buy / build a new box to the specs of the sub. Or upgrade the subs, cuz porting it isnt going to give u more sound, its going to just give you more boomy sound, instead of crisp tight bass like you're getting now. good for rap, bad for everything else.
