What watch do you wear? Part 2

Each to their own i suppose. I found an old Tag Monza at the bottom of my bedroom drawers the other day, lol. I don't even remeraber buying it

Ebay beckons as i simply don't like it

I've never liked Breitlings in the main as i find them generally to OTT, but tbf, that is one of my favourite watches of theirs. Very very nice

Leaving in about an hour. I've been up pretty much all night and have found about 10 which I like. Not brand loyal, so going to get what ever I like.

I have a Maurice Lacroix at the moment, and a Breitling which are completely different from one another.

Rob - I do like that one, that's on my list of ones to try on this morning. Also any advise on the second hand market. Didn't really think about it to be honest.

According to a London Cleaner we should all be looking down our local drains.

This guys has now found 2 Rolex in the space of a week (eek). AND a James Bond Omega!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JayBird - I really like that. I like most of the Jazzmaster range in fact, some lovely pieces and great value for money too as you'd expect from Hamilton

That Casio does look quite substantial, Adrian... jumping in at the deep end a bit if you're not used to wearing a watch!

Forums like TZ-UK are full of good options like the one I linked to above, usually for a good price (for the buyer, at least!). You need to be registered and have a certain nuraber of posts before you can use their Sales Corner, but you can still PM merabers who are selling watches and do a deal.

Anyone see the £4,750 Rolex Yachtmaster with 3.6 carats valued at over £17k in the classifieRAB?

You will never lose money on it. Money in the bank earning 0% or on your wrist and it can only go up ( how i justify to the wife)

I'll keep an eye out for you

Oof, you're braver than I am spending that much dosh on a new/unknown make like that.
Nice watch, but I'd like to know I wouldn't lose money on it if I decide to flip it.

Second hand will obviously get you much more for your money...

Nice Pam 000 will be around the 2K mark, Speedy pro is well within your budget too. TZ sales corner is definitely worth a look... so bargains pop up now and again.
