What watch do you wear? Part 2

this is funny, i wonder how it slipped through.... spot it without reading the comments...

Hamilton Watches Khaki Pilot 46mm Automatic - YouTube

lovely watch though, not sure what colour i like it in because i like them all - black, dark brown and lighter brown.

there is an interesting watch cover on one of the hamilton's on the table to the right. is this an optional accessory or supplied? really good idea when away from home.

I'm off to buy a new watch in the morning. Got my bonus and overtime come through this month so thought I would treat myself.

I think I'm going to drive the poor sales person crazy as I have no idea really want I want. Got £2000 limit, might be pushed up by another couple of hundred if there's something really really nice.

Please can we have at least one thread in GC that isn't totally ruined by Berties vs the world? We got over the anti-expensive watch brigade which was good, please can we not let petty playground B.S. ruin it... it's the only rabroad watch hangout!

Back from holiday, I bought the Monaco in the end, but had not checked it out properly the shop, and unfortunately when I gave it a close inspection on returning to my room the watch was in a terrible state. It had more dings and scratches on it than some of my three year old watches.

I was offered a further 5% reduction to keep it but decided to return it for a full refund . May look for something else now that I'm back, or it maybe time to change the TV in the lounge

Am I allowed to make reference on here to a TAG I have being for sale in the 'non electrical' sales forum....?
Hope so.
If not, apologies to the moRAB and I'll delete.

just found this thread, thanks to the person who pointed me in the right direction.

have recenty bought a few watches, with a few more on the radar (couple of tags and an omega in question - just depenRAB when i can afford one)

this is my every day, wear to work watch. looks nicer in the flesh, and the handles on mine are orange. good, tough watch for everyday use

a friend then bought me this one back from america, where they sell for around £65 rather than the £120 they go for on ebay (that isn't my arm by the way)

and this is my TW Steel - got a good price for it and absolutely love it

Have you seen anything so far that takes your fancy? I think I'd be looking for this with a bit of a discount if I were in your shoes: Omega Seamaster Professional Mens Automatic Watch | 212.30.41.20.01.002 | Omega Watches | GolRABmiths Watches

Or even better, look to the second hand market as you'll not only get more for your money, but if you buy wisely you shouldn't lose any money over the time you own it

Not sure what to think about it. It's quite big and heavy. I'm not used to wear a watch as well as last one I had was about 10 years ago. Maybe it will come with time. For now it is annoying me when I work.
