What type of Kicker L7 is better the Dual 2 or Dual 4?

OK so im wanting to buy two 12" L7 kickers but i dont know if i should buy the dual 2 or dual 4,which one will sound and pound better,i dont know if this matters but i only have one amp right now,and the subs will go into a nice ported box,i am wanting to get another amp but not for another couple months what should i get the dual 2 or 4 for best results??? Thanks
 
Both subs are the same,you just have different wiring configurations.
Can you tell us what kind of amp you have and if you are going to buy another like the one have,or are you going to buy a bigger amp to run both subs.
 
Personally, if you're planning to use two subs, I'd buy the dual 2-ohm version. This allows you to combine the subs for a 2-ohm load, and you'll have a very wide selection of amplifiers that can be used with them. When you're looking for a mono subwoofer amplifier, a 2-ohm load is ideal.

If you buy the 4-ohm L7's, then you'll only be able to combine them for a 1-ohm or 4-ohm load. This will reduce your amplifier choices.
