I am buying my boyfriend a sub and amp for christmas but i really have no clue what i'm doing. The sub I bought is a Kicker TC10 -- 4 Ohm 10" Comp Vented Truck Enclosure 05TC10.

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! !

Heres a few amps that will work nicely with your subwoofer:

If I were too choose any of these amps, i'd go with the Memphis amplifier. It may be the most expensive, but it's a hell of a nice amp and well worth every dollar. Very good quality indeed.

However, if you didn't have that much money to spend, i'd check out the Alpine amp. Can't go wrong with Alpine products =D

A kicker zx400.1 amp will work, it has 200 watts x 1 at 4 ohms that is more than enough power to push that kicker sub, also you are going to need an amplifier wiring kit. I recommend you to get a 4 gauge wiring kit just in case he wants to add an extra amp to drive the mids and highs.
