What traditional superstitions related to your ethnic culture do other groups...

...don't know about unless you tell? For example, Mexican people have told me that if they see a snake/dragon like creature in their dreams, it means another person has plans to harm them in some way or somebody is already doing some sort of harm to them and they are not aware of it.

I know Italians have a long list of superstitious believes. East Asians also have many superstitious believes.

Does your culture have superstitious believes?

And, if it does, what are they?

I don't know. Most of them are common superstitions - like black cats, the evil eye, possessions. But their method of exorcism is interesting. In order to find out whether or not a loved one has been possessed, they go to what I call a "ghost whisperer" (because I'm weird). lol They read tea leaves, pretend to be possessed by a demon and ask for money and other goods in exchange for the method of exorcism that should be used. It's usually one of these methods. In Somalia and for many other Horn of African ethnic groups, they try to smoke the "demon" out of the person, by burning some sort of incense, holding the person so that their head is right above the smoke, and cover them with a blanket. Another method is to kill an animal, usually a goat or cow, and wrapping the person in the carcass/hide without cleaning it. There are other things, that I don't know about since I wasn't raised there and those aren't practices done outside of the country. These are practices that predate the time when religion spread to these regions and the people still do these and intertwine them with their religious beliefs.
