I only get 5,162 kbit/sec with Usenet- this seems very slow.

Normally I can get 2.0 mb/sec.

you got that wrong...

If you get 5,162kb (Kilobits) then your getting 5mb (megabits)...

Its not hard to work out what your getting... It will be shown in either kb or KB so your getting 5,162kb (5mb) which is equal to 645KB or just over half a MB.

Bytes > bits
Kilobytes > kilobits
Megabytes > megabits
Gigabytes > gigabits

This is my internet speed test result. My uploading speed is 0.123Mbps MY downloading speed is 2.365Mbps. Is this good or not?
