ACOUSTICS SC-85?? PLEASE HELP!!!!? OK SO ITS TIME TO UPGRADE MY MIDS AND HIGHS..MY TRUCK FITS 5X7 SPEAKERS..IVE NARROWED IT DOWN TO THE ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER SERIES T157c OR THE BOSTON ACOUSTICS SC-85 SPEAKERS? WHICH SHOULD I BUY? HERES THE SPECS FOR BOTH..

Based on your provided specs the Boston's provide a better frequency response range, a higher sensitivity rating , and what that translates into is you will get a better sounding speaker even though it can only handle 50watts rms as opposed to 75. To be totally honest, just get the least expensive one as you may only notice the slightest difference between these two in a real world install.
 
I would get the Rockford Fosgate myself if I were you; I have nothing against Boston in fact I use home speakers by them but I have read about guys blowing out the tweeters in high power car systems ( More than once) I have Rockfords in my car and I just love them; I didn't know that much about them when I got them, but I got a better deal on them than the competition (Boston and Polk) and I had read that they were good, after getting them I have started recommending them all the time, because they were even better than I had thought they were going to be.
