i have 2 12" Solo Baric L7's. 1500w RMS, 3000w Peak, they are 4ohm dual voice coil on each. i was told that dual voice coil makes each sub 2 ohms and wired in paralell makes it a 1 ohm circuit. is this true? Also how should i size my amp? i want a Mono Amp. should i buy a 1500 RMS amp or a 3000 peak amp?

that amp is 1500 RMS at 1 OHM but what about an amp that is 1500 RMS at 2 OHMs? and if i get an amp that is rated for max RMS willl i still get louder peaks? do i only get the RMS loudness?
