This isn't about convincing people of anything. It's about putting your opinions and your reasons for holding them on the table for public inspection. If people can understand your position fairly, then they can decide for themselves whether to convince themselves of it.

I'd agree, that with God there is one right interpretation of the Bible and many wrong ones. The problem is knowing whether a particular interpretation of the Bible accurately reflects the Word of God. So far, historically and empirically speaking no single interpretation of the Bible has shown the truth of itself to be beyond reasonable doubt. That is, of course, where faith comes in as a pragmatic solution.
