We have a major builder building our home and has built our home with the wrong elevation. We kept asking questions and telling the construction supervisor and our sales counselor that something didnt look right. Of course, they continued to put a spin on things and claiming that their would be slight deviation from the plans. From the beginning of our build what we heard over and over is how our house would be built to plan. When we had a concern they would say, "don't worry about it, trust us, it will be built to plan." All the sudden when things were not looking the same as the plan we heard, "well, there will be slight deviations in plans." Well, we started laboring over the plans ourselves, trying to get to the bottom of things to narrow down why things were sooooo different from the plans. We discovered that about 80% of the pitches are off on our roof. Upon further review, although similar, we figured out that they have put an elevation on our home from a different floor plan. We are looking for advice as to where do we go from here? We signed a contract saying that any disputes etc. would be handled thru arbirtration. We are just not sure what type of recourse we have. Any advice?
