State whether you are Republican, Independent* or Democrat.

Remember the Alamo
stygianwolfe the alamo comment was for you. You are honestly right.

To the rest, someone felt I wasn't accurate to whom hispanic applies to.
So to be accurate as both a Hispanic because I am both Hispanola( Dominican) and Latino(because of I speak and inherited the Latin coulture).

I am referring to Hispanic or more accurately Latin-American as in Latin-America (heritage). Which includes North, South and the Caribean.

By the way hispanic are not from spain.
Spainiars are from Spain. And hispanic also include all those that inherit Spanish culture, ancestry and language.
This could include philipinos as well.

But you are right, I should had been more accurate. Thank you for your interest in our culture. The more we all learn and share with each other our culture the more united we become and less ignorant we wake up tomorrow.

Hispanics is a misnomer or at best Political correct speak. Like the word Asian, it tells you nothing except that you are using 1984 "News Speak".
Do you mean the people from the Island of Hispaniola? The Spanish speaking Dominican side or the French/Creole Haitian side? Perhaps you are referring to the people of the Eastern side of the Iberian Peninsula. Not the Western side (Portuguese who have never asked for any special favors).
If you mean Mexican, they have had a large influence especially in the West and South West. They have received the most Medals of Honor then any other group.
I have chosen to study Spanish as my third because I live in the West.
TEX- MEX are a very interesting sub set and probably the best American/Texas immigrant (immigrant may not be the best choice of words). They are loyal to this country but keep their own culture. All speak English and Spanish which tells you they love both cultures. But know living north of the Rio Grande is better for them and their children.

The legal ones who pay taxes have medical ins. are a great contributor to us with their culture and not to mention food. on the flip side the illegal ones are destroying us either they overburden the welfare system or take our jobs or drive cars with no ins.list can go on for a while

music, food, architecture, literature, and clothing.

Libertarian who sides with reps.

Well since its a law we must give care to illegal immigrants when they enter a hospital or doctors office.. They cost me more money on my taxes every time I go somewhere to cover the cost of them and their illegal kids living here..

..wait I was supposed to name a positive..
They do Really Cheap Construction work!
