What kind of cooking oil can I use if I am avoiding Goitrogens?

I am being treated for hypothyroidism and I am attempting to avoid Goitrogens in my diet. I've found several list of Goitrogenic foods to limit/avoid, but I noticed that aside from Olive Oil, almost all common cooking and baking oils are listed as to be avoided. The ones listed are flax, soybean, safflower, corn, peanut, and canola. I know I can use Olive Oil, which is fine for most of the cooking I do, but not really suited for baking and frying. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what kinds of oils I can use?

You may need to use animal fats like real lard for frying. While it is high in cholesterol, you will need to weigh that against the goitragen oils.
The nice thing is that while they have about the same fat calories as vegetable oils, when using lard or butter, you seem to need less.
