what kind of box for my 15" kicker cvrs?

depending on what you are driving, I would go with a ported box. Ive heard these subs in a sealed and a ported and with out a doubt the ported is much better. Read the owners manual that came with the subs and see what Kicker suggests for the subs. If you have a van or an suv(any vehicle without a trunk) i would go bandpass. I had a Q-logic bandpass box in my van and it was awesome. But like I said, see what kicker suggests and go with that.

the thing about kicker is that they have made equipment that doesnt need alot of air space to get the spl's. a band pass box is always a bad idea for any vehicle at any time. the band pass box will always produce the lowest sound. for the cvr's a vented or ported will give you the best sound. in the manual it will tell you the size of the box and all the specs you should need. when buying or building a box, look for amdf board or something similar because it is tough and durable unlike the particle board that q logic makes their boxes out of. so if you are looking to hit higher spl's (sound pressure levels) then go with a vented or ported box.
