and 2000 watt rms each answers? i got 2 kicker l7s there 15 inck subs 4 holms what kind of amp should i use i need like a 4000 rms watt amp at either 2 or 4 olms
Well theres 2 ways you can do this... either a dual channel amplifier @ 4 ohms a sub or 2 ohms a sub or 1 ohm a sub
or a monoblock amplifier at 4 ohms or 1 ohm
anyway you do it for a monoblock look for an amp rated at around 2000 watts RMS
and a 2 channel amp 1000 watts RMS a channel
ALWAYS LOOK AT RMS Not peak wattage
i would go with 2 kicker zx2500.1 amps...put one behind the other and bridge them and then bridge the subs also...so now you only have one cable coming from you subs box....hook that up to your front amp...just be carfule you have 1000 watts extra with those amps...or you could play it safe and get the zx1500.1 do the same thing but youll have 1000watts less then what you need...or the easier way (probably cheaper also might be better) is get 2 jl 1000/1 amps and hook it up the same way as the others or you could hook each one individually or bridge them
