I'm planning on buying two 12" Fi Bl Subwoofers (Dual 1ohm or 2???) and I'm not to sure what kind of amp would power both of the subs together. Also on the Fi website you can select additional add-ons that you want with the subs. The add-on choices are, (1 or 2ohm) P Chamfer, Cooling, Flatwind, Extreme lead, Universal (All are optional). Also Daily or SPL... ??? I know each sub is 1000W RMS and the rest of the sub info is on their site. (FiCarAudio.com) I'd appreciate if you could tell me what amp would be perfect for both subs... Looking to spend at most 200-400 Just not TOO expensive...

Thanks Guys, Much Appreciation

idk what amp you should get. personally i would just get 2 power acoustik bamfs that match the rms of your subs. and i would say dual 2 ohm. the audio guys i know say 1 ohm is too hot. and daily or spl depends on how loud you like it. spl is going to be really loud and daily will be easiler on your ears.

I would say your best option would be to get an amp that runs around 2000w RMS @ 1 ohm. To get a 1 ohm load you would have to get the Dual 1 ohm version of the sub.

Finding a good amp that runs that much power is going to be fairly difficult. Make sure to get a good quality amp and not one that advertises 2000w RMS but actually puts out much less power.

If you are running that much power you will need to do the "big 3" upgrade as well as upgrade your alternator to a high output alternator. The alternator will need to be able to put out a large amount of current in order to fully power your system.

If you do not upgrade your alternator you can not get 2000w RMS on a stock electrical system. You would be better off getting a single BL and spending the money you saved on a better amp.

Good Luck!!!
