you need a 300 watt amp to power the subs, at least 2 channels. one with most of the power to the subs and the the other to the door speakers. I would not provide any speaker with more than it's rms rating.also, crossovers prevent tweeterts from trying to play bass/wooffers trying to play treble. they will take down your overall volume, but the sound will be cleaner and your subs won't blow (like your mom)
