What Is Your Favourite Film

Good post above for "Rear Window" - a true classic. We are talking about the original starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly of course! Not the Christopher Reeve version.....

My other classics, inc Rear Window are:

Dr Strangelove (can't believe it hasn't been listed yet!)
Matrix (not the horrific sequels)
Once Upon A Time in the West
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
For A Few Dollars More
Star Wars : New Hope
Star Wars : Empire Strikes Back
Shawshank Redemption (surely the most picked film on the boarRAB)
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Schindlers List

So many more.....ahh lets add "Hard Days Night" to it as well :)

Oo I love loaRAB of films but there is one that is ahead of any film I have ever seen (and I've seen lots!).....

And that is 12 Monkeys.

Absolute gem of a movie. Fantastic cast, brilliant storyline and you could not ask for a better and more unexpected ending. Love it. :)

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Police Story
all the "Indiana Jones" trilogy
Alien
Seven
Pulp Fiction
Star Wars (the original)

For A Few Dollars More is so underrated! Its such a classic.....two of the greatest western actors, teaming up as good guys!

I loved the scene of the first encounter of Mortimer (Van Cleef) and Manco (Eastwood) - Van Cleef coming out the cooler of the two....surprisingly, as this is Clint we're talking about! :)

The Thing Called Love
Bring It On
Gone With The Wind
Sweet Dreams
Young At Heart
American Beauty
Ferris Bueller's Day Off

This is Spinal Tap - Simply Brilliant :)

and

Airplane - How did they manage to fit so many jokes into one film and make at least 90% funny? :D

Also:

Shawshank Redemption
Ray

Death To Smoochy
Splendor
Boyband: The Movie
Chance
Serenity
Dancer, Texas Pop. 81
Reefer Madness (the Kristen Bell version, not the 1936 one)

I know there's others, but that's all I can think of right this second.

star wars double trilogy and back to the future trilogy apart...
the two best films i've ever seen are

the late christopher reeves under rated classic

somewhere in time

i dare u not to wipe away a tear at the end
