C ccfuser Guest Jul 27, 2008 #2 I currently have a 81 kz550 and the spedo goes to 85 but I've taken it past that. I can't say for sure but my freinds said they were doing around 100mph so somewhere around there probably. it goes faster than cars drive.

M Magz™ AMCNAS leader Guest Jul 27, 2008 #3 I'd guess that's an "optomistic" number I got a 81 550LTD when I was 8, (had it til i was 15) the fastest I could get it up to was around 80, maybe 90 on a downhill...(pig patrol confirmed) remember that motorcycle speedometeres aren't remowned for their accuracy...
