The entire country has become very ignorant, I've read something recently that said 54% of the population is illiterate. Listening to most people try to read something is extremely irritating.
Our education system went from being the best to the worst within twenty years. I remember when people put a lot of pride in their intelligence. If they can work the TV remote presently that's all that matters to them.
If our present government is any indication of the best our education system has to offer, we're in trouble.
