Sorry to say they didn't. But I'll get to that in a second.
Ok, I love soundtracks. But right now, my favorites are Donnie Darko (always and forever), CAMP, and The Girl Next Door.
Now, to my former statement. When I was watching TGND, I couldn't help but notice all of the great music. The movie starts off with a classic: David Bowie/Queen's "Under Pressure". There are many others that make me think of the film, songs that I can pinpoint where they were played. Songs like David Gray's "This Year's Love", Elliott Smith's "Angeles", N.E.R.D.'s "Lapdance", Groove Armada's "Purple Haze", The Verve's "Lucky Man" and The Who's "Baba O'Riley"...to name a few. And every song I just mentioned...not on the soundtrack being put out. And there are others that are being left out. Needless to say, I'm really disappointed. Every song that reminds me of the movie right now is not on the soundtrack. A couple did make it, like Echo and the Bunnymen's "The Killing Moon" and...well, let's just leave it at that.
