i have dual 12" subs which are in a custom box
they include:
12" woofers with 40 OZ magnet & 2" voice coil
Max Power: 900 watts
Sensitivity: 95dB
Frequency Response: 32 - 800 Hz
Impedance: 4 ohm
i also have 6x9 sony x-plod 3 way 300W speakers
Rated power: 60W
Frequency response: 27-30k Hz
Sensitivity: 93dB

and 16cm 2 way 190W speakers
Rated power: 40W
Frequency response: 35Hz-22kHz
Sensitivity: 90dB

do the speakers and subs need to be connected to an amp?
or is the sub the only thing that needs to be connected to it
what is the best amp for me to get?
2 channel or 4 channel?
if i were you what would u do?
i have a vl commodore if that helps?
i really have no idea about this stuff
thanks

well there is many ways to look at it, you can get a single mono amp for both your subs and a 4 channel for your speakers to power then, believe me powering speakers to a amp MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD for sound quality believe that. You can get some nice quality amps (Hifonics) on www.onlinecarstereo.com they are inexpensive there quality is just as good as JL Audio in my own opinion if not better, without breaking the bank on that website save approx 60% off retail. IF you don't know how to do this all I would highly recomend to get a pro to install it. Or if your a do it yourselfer try www.installdr.com and hope your car is on that site. if not you can pay like $6 to a website and it explains in detail try look up google "how to install car audio" anyways I hope the best of luck for you.
