Google it. There are tons of types of punk culture. Most likely you are a douchebag who likes lame emo/scene shit anyways. There is crust punk, cyber punk, steam punk, street punk, oi, and tons of other types. You need to do your research on all of them. Each has it's own thing it spawned from and it's own style/bands etc. For example Minor Threat is more straight-edge street punk...while the Sex Pistols are a British invasion type of punk. Also there are branches off of this were skinhead bands and other types of ska are closely related. Seriously you have to research these all to truly understand...that's why this sounds so confusing...but most likely what you are into is annoying roadkill hair, raccoon tails, scenefag music, skinny jeans, and too much eye makeup. So save yourself the time and don't bother.
