You do pushups, situps, and 2 mile runs. You will be trained to think as an airman, you will be trained to think in a military way- this is called a "military bearing". You will be given innoculations against various dieases, you will be trained in the history of the USAF, you will be issued uniforms, you will be given 3 hot meals a day and a rack to sleep in at night.
Anything more than that, you will be told at the time what you are to do- your first offical order once you have reported to Lackland AFB is to call home, you will be given 5 minutes to report to your parents that you have safely arrived into the kind, sweet loving arms of the Air Force- from that moment on, YOU ARE ONE OF MY AIRMEN.
Anything more than that I'll tell you when, what and where you need to do to complete your mission. Until that time I don't want to hear your questions- if you need to know something, I'll tell you. Otherwise, be quiet, stay out of my way, suck in your gut, keep your back straight, always look forward straight ahead.
I do expect you to obey all orders immediately, in a professional manner. If you do not know or understand the specifics of the order given, then ask- theres no such thing as a stupid quesiton. However, there is such things as stupid conversations and if you suck me into one, I will have you do a half left face, front leaning rest position, and you will do push ups until I GET TIRED. I do not get tired.
Also, since you are in training, you will NOT eat candy, or sweets of any type. Fallout- you're on your time until further notice
