The alpine pdx-1.1000 is an excellent amp that puts out 1000 watts rms at a 4 ohm load. I have the mrp-m500 powering my type r sub and i can be heard a block away (literally). The pdx-1.1000 is your best bet. This amp is powerful, durable, compact, and can take a beating without getting overheated.
This is an expensive amp but it is worth every penny and you get what you pay for with this amp. You can find great deals on ebay.
Also, to provide more power you should get your amp install kit from rockford fosgate if you haven't gotten one. RF's wires are pure copper so you'll have a better electric current flow thus more power.
