What is a good subwoofer to replace my kicker cvr122 with? I have a 600.1...

...kicker amp that powered that one sub? The cvr122 is 2 ohms and it is acting up on me. I have to have the sub facing up to play so I'm guessing the coils are going bad in the sub. Should I replace it with the same sub or another sub if so what kind and should I stick with 2 ohm or should I use a 4 ohm for that kicker 600.1 amp?
 
For your 600.1 amp I would go with 2 Alpine type S subs. Theyre rated at 300 RMS which would work perfect for your amp. I have these and they have a really nice sound and kick hard.
