What is a better box for 2 kicker L7 12s?

I had the subs in just a regular slotted box but the subs completely trashed the box. So I was wondering if one of the Kicker boxes that have the big holes on the side would give me better bass then just a standard slotted box

Trashed the box? Did someone make it crappy quality? Given the same area, a port is a port, no matter what shape. Slot ports are ideal because you can tune the box with enough port area easily, whereas with tube ports, they would be too long for the box in certain tunings. So, either type is just fine. Sounds like you need a box thats not built like crap.

There are boxes made just for L7's any size can be chosen. Just look on the internet it should be easy to find,
