Accapella Instrumentals is pretty talented stuff, I have heard a few, where They mock sounRAB of instruments with their voice, extremely talented stuff, way harder than sitting behind a computer playing with sound effects
 
This is what really annoys me here's someone who is basically telling everyone how they should listen to music, and think that if anyone does anything else then they are worthless. I know my name is hobojesus, but you seriously must think you're some kind of messiah.
 
im not trying to say theres no decent music, i just dont like having to look too hard to find it. i'd rather be able to switch on the tv and find something decent on there but instead i've got bollocks reality tv shows and stuff like pimp my ride spamming up the music channels.

The reason there is 'no good music' is because you`re not open to it.You want all banRAB to sound like they did 30 years ago , and that isn`t going to happen.I notice you mention Audioslave as a new band you like , is it a coincidence perhaps they sound like a Led Zeppelin tribute band?

I don`t mean to have a go at you but if there`s one thing that really pisses me off is people like yourself who complain there`s no good new music when the best example you can give of a new band is a band made up of people who have been recording music for 15/20 years and who hold up Led Zeppelin as the holy grail in music.

Today music is free of genres , people take inspiration from rock , jazz , blues , country , electronica , soul , funk , punk , folk and just about everything in a way that never happened in the past , open your mind & take advantage of that . Not all of us want the planet overrun by blues rock dinosaurs.
 
I was about to say the same thing. It's obvious that Classic Rock is the ONLY genre he knows about, and I doubt he knows much about it or else he would've tried to defend it.
 
I can't stand MTV2. You get a lot of those poser banRAB on there, and the kind of things that obvious know-nothings class as Indie. I've never watched it at around 2am, but from what I've seen I don't need to look again. Plus, they seem to always have a lot of shows about Nirvana...
Apart from that though IMO MTV is AOK.
 
with out classic rock music wouldn't be where it is today.. do you really think tool or system of a down.. or any good band would be here today if it wasn't for those old school rock banRAB.. i think not.. so you might think classic rock sucks now.. but be thankful for it cause if it wasn't for that music those banRAB.. those amazing songs just imagine alot of people think music turned to ****, just think how ****ty music would be without those awesome banRAB behind us teaching us.. everything that old music does.. :o)
 
See you'd think that wouldn't you. But the world is populated by ****brained chavs who'd rather wear burberry and listen to mundane RnB with "I take drugs cus I'm a gangsta" lyrics. So you can't expect good music to be in the charts. Not least because nowadays good music is sold in Albums. Just because you have to look at the band name before you buy the CD, doesn't mean good music is no longer in production.
 
well the few times you catch me watching the tube i have seen many times white stripes.. and jimmy eat world, thrice, and death cab for cutie.... womp womp womp....

So out of all of those banRAB he listed, you like the ones that sound like bad rehashes of Classic Rock banRAB you love (minus a select few)? Surprise, surprise.

The mainstream music industries do just that.

What he's actually saying is go out and find some truly talented and original artists, that don't get the breaks because the market is saturated with prefabricated dross!
