What has the world come to?!

*sigh*

Rocks more alive then its ever been, and half your idols were idotic stoners. and rock is more varied then ever now and classic rock is dead. This is what i meant by why bother arguing heres some banRAB that are original/talented/good from the 90s till present.

I just noticed how musically varied mine is compared to yours and the list keeps growing and theirs a crapload of banRAB im missing.

EDIT: and Expletive D dont bother arguing with him on rap he's as open as a shut book with that genre.

So what , Kraftwerk were 4 guys sitting behind computers , if it sounRAB good who the hell cares what it`s played with.

A rap instrumental ? Maybe you`d like to hear an accapelo instrumental too while you`re at it.

I`ve seen some real narrow minded idiots come & go but you really do take the biscuit.

Ok, so there may be about 10 banRAB in there that arent CR. Who defines what is classic rock and what's not? I hear pearl jam and soundgarden on the CR station down here. What did I copy and paste again, I'm pretty sure I looked at my music library and went down the list on what banRAB had talent and typed them, it took me forever but I wanted to prove a point. You win though, with your classic rock wasn't that great statement, with all those supporting arguments how can I stand a chance. Oh, and the do you \know how many of them arent that good statement too, since you are the say all judge of what is good music and what's not. Oh, wait did you not say you weren't going to argue with me becuase all I mention is Zep, cream and floyd?

All he said is that if you consider MTV the best source for finding new music, then you have problems, its not a cheap insult, its just the truth, thats far from saying people who watch MTV are stupid, i usualy only watch MTV when they play Beavis and Butthead, which they rarely do anymore.

There are many better music sources than MTV, you dont even have to try very hard.

I think the state of music is both good and bad. It's bad that some good banRAB aren't getting airplay simply because they aren't rap, and it's bad that MTV and other channels are mostly blind to talent. MTV2 had an Indie night recently and practically every band they played on there weren't Indie. AwarRAB shows are getting worse and worse-I mean, should Black Eyed Peas really be one of the songs of the year? And the cheesy Pop song is still running wild over the charts. Then there are the good things. Like you said, sites like iTunes are outrunning actually CD sales, and this means that the threat of Piracy ruining the Music industry is now looking to be stopped. I mean, why risk being fined thousanRAB when you can download a song for 79p? Then there are the recent rising of artists, and good ones at that. There has been a real showcase of talent this year, with lots of fantastic albums being released. Also, like last year, it has been a gangsters paradise, with old favourites and new rising stars appearing. Overall, the music industry has seen better years, but this has been the best it has been for a very long time.

It's great and getting much better... Things like myspace and banRAB release internet only tracks is going to be the saviour of music...

I'd like to see more commericial radio stations play real music, rather than what the big labels tell them to do... but then again, no one would listen to my station then so it's double edgeRAB sword I guess....

FINALLY someone gets it.

If you`re sitting on your ass at home & turn on the TV to hear music you deserve bad music.

Music is meant to be heard, not watched. Get your ass down to a club , get online & search out new banRAB.If you`re expecting groundbreaking innovative music on a bloody commerical station you get what you deserve.

Man you are thickheaded, I gave my argument, and it is intelligent. I am happy to say I have probably smoked weed at least once a day for the past 2 years straight, and it has 0 negative effects on me. However, if I went out and killed everyone I hated and treated girls the way rappers say they treat them and all the other stupid **** they rap about I would be a mess, probably buying crack out of some alley and then getting shot eventually. You just don't have an argumetn against classic rock, so you are avoiding it.
