It seems like they are treating women and girls worse every year. I was Christmas shopping yesterday and numerous times I was approaching a door with two arm loads of bags and guys just breeze on by in and out never holding a door. Don't even get me started on parking! I found a close spot was about to pull in and the guy who was their waiting for it swooped in on it and blows his horn as if I'm the jerk! What happened to ladies first? I realize he was there first but come on he is a man and men should be gentlemen. Am I wrong? It just feels to me that there is a complete lack of respect for women these days. Do fathers even bother teaching their sons how to be gentlemen anymore? I know I'm ranting here but I have to go back out today and I just don't know if I have the stomach to be disrespected for another long day of shopping. Is it really too much to ask for a little common decency? A little door opening, letting a lady ahead in line or have the safer close parking space a seat on the bus or train? Come on men can't you do better?
