it looks like after i get my ham ticket i will only be able to run rg-58
coax because i need to be able to shut my door on the coax as i need a fast change over. i see the rg-58 coax has about a loss db of about
6.5db. what does this mean if i have this db loss? i will run a 3.7db
gain antenna, does this help alittle? i will run Times Mic LMR-195-FR
coax from the radio to the antenna as i need to run Fire Retardant coax
for the semi truck i work in sience i haul fuel to gas stations. thanks
for any help information any of you can be.
