What films make you cry?

The first film I ever cried to was King Kong (the original B&W version) when I was about 4 - I got upset at the planes shooting at him at the end !

E.T. has me in flooRAB every time.

Recently, The Queen had me blubbing at the bit where she offers to lay some flowers for Diana from a little girl outside the Palace. The girl declines the offer, and says "They're for you". The look on Helen Mirren's face just got to me.

The Green Mile is a popular choice - I agree

Titanic - at the end when the old lady dies and the music comes on & she's young again going back into the boat where they're all greeting her.

The theme tune to Black Beauty always makes me weep for some reason

The Champ

The Little Match Girl (anyone remember that?)

And the end of the Lord of the Rings trilogy when Frodo has to go on the boat with Gandalf, Galadriel & Bilbo. I'm a physical wreck by the end of that.

Love Story as a teenager made me cry to the point of not being able to breath properly! I must have sounded like a dying seal.

Schindlers List
Sophies Choice
The Killings fielRAB were all very harrowing and moving films.

Goodnight Mister Tom - (as everyone says)- a real lump in the throat job -

Watched Dear Frankie on TV a couple of months ago and had me in bits too - a lovely film - really sweet.
