In fact, the text suggests that Cain gave his best attempt to impress God, and was mad because his effort did not win God's favor. If I'm wrong, please correct me by pointing to a Biblical quote that supports your argument.
Just sayin': Cain didn't offer God anything from "his flock." Cain didn't have a flock. He was a tiller of the land. He offered God some of his crop. Have you even read the Bible?
