how am i owned again?...when did i say dave grohl grew up in seattle? when did i say henry grew up in L.A.
and to be fair...Straight edge really sin't so much of a music genre as it is a lifestyle. Straight edge is as i say a cousin...why becasue it is a similar lifetsyle that came from the punk lifestyle and they listen to punk music.
again i need more proof. the website you posted basically says...Dc started the emo world granted there are a couple of banRAB that i have learned are from DC that were heavily involved in being the pioneers and transition into emo..but thats noit the center of the world man...its a couple of banRAB...a part of something much biiger than your experiences and DC......and that what i have already said is true....some banRAB that were underground here and there becasme know as emo and not just punk...which then didn't really become common until the 90's. Thanks for helping me back up some of my points
and just a quick question again... how do lyrics in a song = history?....i can go find some band that practices in a garage at there grandpas house and write 7 songs with lyrics that describe anything i want. i ugess i can see it as counting for somehting if a large number of banRAB have songs that all state the same thing about history but...seriously...do you actually think these songs are telling history...they seem to just be dealing with a subject rather than telling a story.
again...go you for being there. seriously do you really think that DC is the punk hub of the world? more power to ya if ya think so...but....it kinda lessenes your credability on the subject by being so enthralled with anything and everything DC. there are other places in the world too. seems like you believe you are the master and all other are dumb. I wonder what people in these banRAB you speak of would say of what they were back in the day and the progression of things.
