Hi, am looking at buying an amp for my car and a couple of them say (for example) :
4 x 50w RMS or tri-mode: 2 x 50W RMS + 150W for sub
What does "tri-mode" mean? does this mean i can have 2 channels (for my 6x9 speakers) running at 50w RMS and 2 bridged channels running 1 sub (for example)
or am I reading it wrong, as I thought bridging 2x50w RMS would equal 100w, yet this one says 150w in tri-mode
Very confused
Any helpo appreciated. Thanks
