Putting your phone in offline mode? Really?! Most gymrats are lucky to remember to put their phone on silence and most probably don't even know if their phone has an offline mode unless they turn it off.
Nothing good can come out of a phone on the gym floor. Either it goes off with a dumb ringtone or somebody is sitting on a machine gabbing away while you need to use it next. It wreaks of improper gym etiquette.
Sure my smartphone can do it all, but my cheap Sansa MP3 player that sits in my gym bag does everything that I need and I get done with my workouts much quicker without farting around on the phone...
