What does "High output" really mean in a car alternator for car audio?

Alternators range from like 50 to 400 amps; but some; like for car audio are designated "high output. What does this mean? Is a "high output" 200 amp alt. better than a 300 amp "regular" alternator.
 
If you have car audio that uses 200 amps then that is what you need on your car to recharge your high amperage battery,high output just means more than a normal system would need.
 
no a 300 amp regular alternator would be for like a big work truck with a lot of stationary tools and things like that or maybe certain big luxury vehicles. a H.O alternator is just like when your stock one is only 105 amps. I'm actually getting a 160 or 200 amp h.o alternator for my suv. because my stock one is only 105 and power EVERYTHING lol. so with all new speakers and nice subs it's not gonna happen.
