What do you know about the Japanese culture?

Please, tell me everything you know about the Japanese culture... I am really into Japan and I am really interested in getting to know it a lot better. I really wish I was Japanese, just to show how obsessed I am! xDD

I would say it is more of a closed culture than say the United States for example. Hard working, polite. I don't know what else to say, I do live in Japan (retired U.S. Navy) You can look at the web site below a-z, it might give you a Idea.

Other than language and a few other aspects, Japanese culture isn't much different than Western culture.
