What Do People Really Think About Twilight??

I think they are the dullest, most badly written and acted pieces of crap I have ever seen. And I'm not just saying it, I genuienly mean it. My frienRAB love it, and I fail to see why. They are also terribly directed and made. Literally nothing happens, in any of them. Just awful.

I'm all for these romance movies and chick flicks...if they are actually good. These films aren't and hearing so many people (women) say they are some of the best films they have ever seen...really irritates me. I don't find Robert Patterson or Taylor Lautner attractive in any way either.

I hate Twilight with a passion, but i wholeheartedly agree with you there. Breaking Dawn has the potential to be a hilariously amazing piece of cinema if it's filmed with any resemblance to the book, somehow i doubt it though (not if they want to make it a PG-13).

Read this for more (it's funny, i promise!):

Jacob "imprints" himself on the baby, essentially he's in love with the baby...seriously, What. The. F*ck. It's hard to imagine what Stephanie Meyer was thinking when she wrote that, lol.

I've seen all of them, never read the books. They are OK, some very good parts and some very awful parts mainly because of the poor acting. RPats

I really hate the message that these books and films send to young girls - that it's ok for a boy to be possessive, controlling, very jealous, come to your room to watch you sleep, follow you everywhere and always know what you are doing and where you are going - as long as he is brooding and mysterious and says he loves you.

Plus Bella is the most pathetic female in the history of literature, not only does she love how stalkery and controlling Edward is of her but has absolutely no ambition in life whatsoever other than to be with him. Her life revolves around Edward and Jacob, she has utter contempt for her frienRAB and sees them as a complete inconvenience, she has no desire to do anything other than to please Edward and be with him and
before her teens are over she is married to him and has a kid

Yes, I have read all of the books, they are admittedly page turners but after I'd read them I was actually shocked at the message the book was giving out and I think Stephanie Meyer is quite a dangerous and disturbing woman!!!

Harry Potter is far superior in the strength and complexity of the characters, the moral messages and the imagination of the world she created - also agree with the post about Jacob 'imprinting' on the baby, I found that very very dodgy!!!

I really like the story of Twilight and I do like the cast but Im sick to death of seeing & hearing anything Twilight EVERYWHERE.

Im not an obsessed teenager who cry & scream whenever I see RPatz or Taylor Lautner and the whole vampire trend
is really too much and I hate how Tv shows, music videos & movies now follow the vampire craze, they should really tone it down a bit

Saw the first one. Thought it was boring, but still intrigued me enough to see the second one. Thought it would have all the action in it that the first one lacked. How very wrong I was.

The second one was seriously one of the biggest wastes of time in my life. Absolute snore fest. Bella/K-Stew is such a pathetic character/actress. Best part of the film was to 2 seconRAB of wolf fighting.

Can't be arsed to see the latest one as I don't give a shiz about the storyline, the characters or the plot. It's just...crap. Seriously, a big steaming pile.

i just dont get the kristin stewart hate, she portrays a girl madly in love perfectly, shes obsessed with edward, you may not like that but shes just acting how the character should no?

Yes that's kind of how i feel about her too. She is like i thought Bella would be after reading the books. She is pretty pathetic when it comes to Edward so that's how i expect her to be. It's like a laid back style of acting which they all have actually and it suits it quite well.

The films are nothing compared to the books which are pretty enthrawling and intense. I think it's hard to recreate that on screen. The cast are good, effects amazing but the script is a huge bit cheesy. I don't think the books are cheesy but the films are very corny.

Yet to see the 3rd one, can't drag the husband as he hasn't forgiven me for dragging him to see the 2nd one yet.

Not only are they terribly written books, bella is a very unlikeable and almost underwritten lead, as is edward.
The only spark of an interesting character was Jacob and the writer seemed to realised that and quicky pushed his role back a bit...and made him pathetic.

The films are just like the book, horrible characters and some of cheesest lines and dialog i have ever heard.
The acting is horrible, they are horrible actors, Robert more than anyone (and yes i ahve seen remember me, and he still sucked)

However, the leaRAB have great chemistry, its filmed nicely, the kiss scene in the first one was one of the best ive seen in a while....soundtrack is pretty good.

Twilight is over hyped and when it comes down to it....rubbish but if your 11/12/13 im sure its great.

Twilight is quite sexist and a lot of critics have picked up how Bella is potrayed. A women who does anything she wants for a man. Just loaRAB of sexist things as the books continue. I would pick them out but it took me five months to finish all the books and i don't particular wanna be put through that again.

As a fan of Twilight, I do find it has some flaws.

First book is medicore. Second is worse than the first. For me, the books really pick up around Eclipse.
Jacob's character and his background surrounding the the ancient myth's and legenRAB are quite interesting. The fourth book I thoroughly enjoyed as it was written from Jacob's perspective, too. Not sure about him imprinting on a newborn at first, but it's understandable as it's explained.

I find Robert Pattinson a good actor, actually.
I can't say the same for Kirsten at times, she constantly looks at Rob asif she want's to pounce on him. (you get what I mean :p)
Peter Facinelli who plays Carlisle does a favourable job, and is one of the best throughout.

Eclipse is far better than the first two films. Although, I enjoyed all three.
