Then just the usual stuff like gettig used to the money. the nasal accent of a new yoikah. there are so many homeless in New York...one distrcit alone is worse than most of Dublin.
But my initial shock was as I already said was the level of security measures in place, before we'd even gotten on the plane. Like Biometric eye scanners etc. Ive just never personally experienced it before.
