You see, for school, in English to be precise, we have to read a range of texts and write reviews on them. There is a range of criteria for passing this assignment, such as at least 6 different authors, 3 types of text etc. But one of the criteria is having at least 3 cultural identities, meaning, which culture is prominent in the book.
So what I need to know is what culture does Romeo and Juliet reflect? I'd have thought it was Italian, but others say it's English. Can anyone give me a definitive answer on this?
